An event to remember all those who served from the Hodder Valley in WW1, and a Book Launch All are welcome to 'drop-in' at the Village Hall to view an exhibition, and to attend lectures by three speakers. Also on that day, Margaret Brenchley's new book 'In Love, In Gratitude, In Remembrance' will be launched at 10:30. Entry is free.

Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018 Timetable
Members of the Society are invited by Town Mayor of Clitheroe, Pam Dowson, to attend a Civic Remembrance Sunday Service. This takes place at the parish Church of St Mary Magdalene on Sunday 11th November 2018.
Historic England's October newsletter has a list of war memorials listed during a four year commemoration project.
Given the proximity of Armistice Day, Remembrance Sunday and the Centenary of the end of WW1 this may be of interest to visitors to this site.
The Gatherings project in the Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership Scheme, run by In-Situ Arts, has brought Nastassja Simensky to Pendle Hill to create a performance work based on the archaeological excavation at Malkin Tower.
